We provide a number of services for rangatahi or taiohi (youth) and ratonga taiohi (young adults) in west Tāmaki Makaurau to help them as they prepare for and step into adulthood.  

There are other providers throughout the country who are also available to provide similar support, and we will support rangatahi in accessing the right provider to meet their needs.

Ahi Kā - the fires that burn

The Ahi Kā programme is specifically for Oranga Tamariki caregivers, helping them to understand the experiences and needs of tamariki and rangatahi in their care to best support them.

Being a caregiver is an important and challenging role, which requires a strong network of support, tools and resources. Through Ahi Kā, you’ll receive support for yourself and the resources you need to help you care for tamariki.
